1. How do I retrieve a creator's content information associated with the work platform?

Invoke the retrieve all content items API. It contains information about the creator's content available with the work platform. For YouTube type of platforms, it will be the videos created by the creator. For Instagram type of platforms, it will be the images and videos published by the creator. And so on.

2. What are content groups?

Content groups are content containers like an album, playlist, or carousel.

3. How do I retrieve a creator's content groups' information associated with the work platform?

Invoke the retrieve all content groups API. It contains information about the creator's content group available with the work platform. For YouTube type of platforms, it will be the playlists created by the creator. For Instagram type of platforms, it will be the albums published by the creator.

4. How do I retrieve engagement metrics for Instagram Stories?

Instagram Stories do not have likes and comments data associated with them due to the nature of interactions being available on the platform. For this, you can only get impressions and reach data for now. We will work towards adding these data points as and when Instagram starts supporting them through their platform and their APIs.

5. How far back do you fetch data?

By default, we get content and engagement metrics for the past 90 days. However, for your custom needs, you can raise a request using the refresh content items API (or the refresh content groups API) with your desired dates. We will sync the data as per availability on the platform and update you via webhooks.

6. How can I download or cache the media content from these APIs?

You can use the media_url to get the media content and thumbnail_url to get the media thumbnail. These are usually signed URLs and may have certain expiry limits, so we recommend using them as soon as possible (such as when a webhook is received) if you are looking to cache media files at your end.

7. How do I get notified about content deletion?

We do not have a mechanism in place to notify deletion of content.
